Pricing for the 2017 Audi R8 has been announced.
The all-new Audi R8 will start from $164,150 including destination in the U.S.,which gets you the R8 V10 model powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 540 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. That puts the new model at nearly $10,000 more than the outgoing R8 V10.
The other model available is the 2017 Audi R8 V10 plus with a price tag of $191,150. The R8 V10 plus offers 610 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque from the same powerplant. Both models come equipped with a seven-speed S tronic transmission with quattro all-wheel drive.
The standard model has a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top track speed of 199 mph while the V10 plus does the sprint in 3.2 seconds while getting a top track speed of 205 mph.
It’s not just more power for the V10 plus model either. Buyers will get a sports car that weighs approximately 77 pounds less along with Audi carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, front lip spoiler, exterior mirror housings and fixed rear wing spoiler. For the first time ever in the U.S., V10 plus buyers also get racing shell seats inside.
