ABT Sportsline is introducing its latest Audi project, this time based on the high-performance RS Q3 crossover.
The tuner worked on the mildly facelifted RS Q3 and now it has an upgraded configuration of the reputable 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine. ABT’s engineers worked their magic and managed to extract almost 20% more power as the engine now churns 410 PS (301 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque.
There’s no word about performance, but it should be a few ticks of a second quicker than the stock RS Q3. Audi says that one runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.8 seconds and tops out at an electronically-restricted 155 mph (250 km/h).
Besides multiplying the number of horses underneath the hood, ABT also installed new shoes as the RS Q3 now sits on 21-inch wheels. Several other designs in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches are available upon request and you can match the wheels with Dunlop or Continental tires. At an additional cost, you can add a set custom spacers and a height-adjustable suspension kit.
The Audi RS Q3 by ABT can be optionally fitted with the tuner’s sporty exhaust system with quad tips and you can also go for a red or black decal body set. Also available are different side mirror caps and a new rear skirt which can be adorned by a special decal set in red or black. There’s not much going on inside the cabin, but customers can opt for door entrance lights, new floor mats, and a custom trunk mat.
