The Audi A4 (B9) will go on sale in UK this Thursday and it will carry a starting price of £25,900.
For this money you will be getting the entry-level sedan in SE trim equipped with a 150 PS 1.4 TFSI engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. As standard, it comes generously equipped with xenon headlights (with LED DRLs), 17-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch MMI, tri-zone climate control system, Audi drive select and Audi smartphone interface.
At an additional cost, buyer will be able to order matrix LED headlights, 19-speaker 755-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system, 8.3-inch MMI and a plethora of safety & assistance systems like traffic jam assist, rear traffic crossing, exit warning and turn assist. There’s also a rear-seat entertainment system with dual tablets along with the Audi phone box featuring wireless smartphone charging and two Bluetooth connections.
Engine options include the aforementioned 150 PS 1.4 TFSI, followed by a 190 PS 2.0 TFSI and a beefier 252 PS 2.0 TFSI quattro. On the diesel side, the range kicks off with a 150 PS & 190 PS 2.0 TDI and a 218 PS 3.0 V6 TDI that can also be had with quattro. Depending on engine selection, Audi is offering a six-speed manual gearbox, a seven-speed S tronic and an eight-speed tiptronic.
Upon launch, the most expensive model of the 2016 Audi A4 range in UK will be the A4 Avant 3.0 V6 TDI quattro eight-speed tiptronic kicking off at £40,350.
