Audi A3 Convertible Facelift Spied Testing

The Audi A3 convertible has been spied testing its new facelift.

AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers caught the convertible A3 testing following the sedan yesterday, revealing a bit more of the changes heading to the model. Along with the front grille getting the same treatment as the four-door model, the convertible will have a more aggressive front bumper than the sedan as is currently the case.

Based on the camouflage, the rear end will also get an updated bumper while the tail lights will be revised with new graphics.

The revised Audi A3 is expected to be available as a 2017 model year, meaning it will likely make its debut sometime next year. There is one major difference between the sedan that was spied testing and the convertible, with the drop-top model sporting a dual exhaust system meaning it is more than likely powered by the 1.8-liter TFSI engine that will get a slight bump in performance along with the facelift.
