Audi A4 Allroad goes airborne for promo [Video]
Audi has released a promotional video showing its new A4 Allroad performing a few high-speed stunts on a dirt track.
Due to arrive in US showrooms sometime this fall, the A4 Avant variant serves as a more compact alternative to the current A6-based Allroad, sharing ruggedized body panels and underbody skid plates to handle more abuse than the standard wagon. A unique suspension design and adaptive dampers help improve off-road performance without sacrificing on-road comfort.
Professional drivers don helmets for the “Sunday Drive” video, presenting the A4 Allroad as a rally-capable wagon for suburbanites.
“Follow a couple as they perform their Sunday morning routine, but with a twist. Simply getting a cup of coffee in allroad, USA becomes a thrilling example of high-speed stunt driving,” the description says.
The rugged waron will start at $44,950 (including freight) for the basic Premium trim when it goes on sale.
