Next year’s Audi A4 allroad quattro has been speculatively rendered based on a series of spy shots from a couple of months ago.
You really don’t have to be an Audi fan to figure out the design of the rugged allroad quattro as the model will have virtually the same body as the A4 Avant but with black plastic body cladding, stainless steel underbody protection and fresh alloy wheels. It’s also getting a permanent quattro all-wheel drive system as standard along with a jacked up suspension, so it will be better at tackling bumpy roads.
It’s unlikely the model will be available with the base 1.4 TFSI engine, so expect Audi to sell this car with the 2.0 TFSI (190 PS & 252 PS), 2.0 TDI (150 PS & 190 PS) and a larger 3.0 TDI (218 PS & 272 PS).
Chances are the Audi A4 allroad quattro will be introduced March next year at the Geneva Motor Show, with sales to begin shortly thereafter. In terms of pricing, it will obviously be more expensive than the equivalent A4 Avant which at home in Germany kicks off at €38,800 for the 2.0 TDI, so its allroad sibling will likely be a little over €40,000.
