Audi RS6 Allroad Quattro Could Look Like This

It might not be official, but according to a recent report the Ingolstadt officials are indeed considering making it.

If it does get the go-ahead, then chances are it will look similar to this so-good-it-looks-real rendering.

Initial info indicate that the super-estate might gain a beefed up Allroad version, which should combine the RS6 with the A6 Allroad. If this turns out to be true, then we expect a raised suspension system, underbody protection and plastic body cladding.

Things get much more interesting when you factor the the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the RS6 in the equation.

Assuming they will keep it intact, then customers will get no less 605PS (596hp) and 700Nm (516lb-ft) of torque distributed to all four wheels via the quattro system. Stunning performance combined with space and practicality. What a nice combination, isn’t it?

Before you rush to your local Audi dealer, you might want to bear in mind that, in the wake of the emissions scandal, the VW Group is looking to cut down its expenses for 2016. This includes axing some projects that were previously in the pipeline. For the moment, we’ll just have to wait and see…
