Audi S8 Plus returns in Avant body style image
And it is definitely one practical ride with the performance of a supercar.
Before rushing over to your local Audi dealership to place a deposit, you should know that such a model only exists in the virtual world as it is nothing more than a simple rendering, signed by X-Tomi Design. The vehicle has been based on the recently unveiled Audi S8 Plus and it is bringing a more practical body style, that of a five-door estate, and if the carmaker will decide to give it a go, it will have no other direct competitor because BMW is not offering a 7-Series Estate and Mercedes-Benz has no plans of introducing an S-Class Estate either.
The Audi S8 Plus is a last hurrah for the premium vehicle which will receive a new generation soon. The model in question is getting a single frame grille and double bars at the front grille, finished in gloss black, carbon fiber finish or body color for the spoiler lip at the rear, Matrix LED technology and others. Its cabin is now getting a full-black leather finish with contrast red stitching, piano black finish for the center console, a full leather interior package, Alcantara package, convenience key with sensor-driven luggage, ambient lighting and more. Power is being provided by a 4.0 liter TFSI engine, rated at 605 HP (445 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, or 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) with overboost. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just 3.8 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph), but it can be raised to 305 km/h (190 mph). Find out more about it here.
